Astronomy Week: Rossall Summer School 2017

Rossall Summer School is an intensive language programme combined with general activities, specialised skills, and cultural experiences.

The Summer programme is designed to appeal to boys and girls, aged between 11 and 18, from all over the world, running throughout the summer holidays on Rossall’s stunning coastal campus where students will have plenty of space to learn and explore.

Summer School: 14th to 18th August

The course will teach students to navigate their way around the sky at night in our onsite planetarium where they are guaranteed a perfectly clear night sky.
They will learn how to identify the most important constellations, know how and when to track down the planets and the best ways to view them from planet Earth.
