Rossall Summer Courses: Astronomy For All
Tuesday 28th & Wednesday 29th August, 9.30am to 3.30pm
Suitable for children aged 10-15
£76 per student
The two-day course will teach students how to navigate their way around
the night sky in our onsite planetarium, where the students are guaranteed a
perfectly clear night sky. Also utilising our classroom and lecture theatre, students
will discover all the latest and greatest ‘wow’ factors surrounding this wonderful
science – stars, galaxies, planets, black holes, time travel, life ‘out there’ and
more. There are plenty of opportunities for discussion and asking as many
questions as possible, covering everything and anything about space!
The course suits beginners and those with a keen interest in Space
and Astronomy wishing to learn more.
